Is there any wedding gift wishes?

WE would love to get money, self made items (art, crafts etc). Money will be used to cover the costs of travel between Finland and New York. But in the end any kind of gifts are welcomed!

Will the accommodation be provided?

There is a hotel near by that you can book. Rates are $169+tax for Saturday night and $149+tax for Sunday night. You can find the hotel info from bottom of this page.  Note: We will provide bus transporation between the hotel and the wedding. More info to follow soon.

Will there be vegetarian and vegan food?

Yes and also gluten free and dairy free options. 
Food will be labeled at the event.

What is the dress code?

Our dress code is pretty relaxed, wear any casual but clean looking clothes, whatever makes you comfortable.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as Lacawac Sanctuary makes high heels very difficult to traverse. Otherwise, it is easy to navigate.

Can I throw rice, confetti etc. during wedding?

To ensure the safety of Lacawac's natural wildlife, it is not permitted to throw rice, rose petals, confetti, decorative glitter, birdseed, or any items of such nature to be used or thrown. Novelty items including balloons and lanterns made specifically for release into the sky may not be released anywhere on property. Bubbles may be blown outdoors only.
